Fees for Core Trainings

The course fee for the Cambridge Core Course (3-days) is $300 per participant . This fee covers tuition, training material, and most meals. Accepted participants are responsible for accommodation expenses and associated travel costs. Please note that this is a one-time reduced fee, by reason of it being our first Core Training on Humanitarian Security Management. For all training locations, participants will have the option to arrange accommodations, via HPCR International, at a preferred rate.

HPCR International offers partial assistance (half-course fees) for core trainings only to a limited number of candidates from civil society organizations in developing countries. All accepted applicants from civil society organizations in developing countries will automatically be considered for course fees assistance; no separate application is required. Selected recipients will be notified on acceptance to the core training.

Fees for Thematic Workshops

The course fee for the Cambridge Thematic Workshop (2-days) is $200 per participant. This fee covers tuition, all training material, and most meals. Accepted participants are responsible for accommodation expenses and associated travel costs. Please note that this is a one-time reduced fee, by reason of it being our first Thematic Workshop on Security Management. For all training locations, participants will have the option to arrange accommodations, via HPCR International, at a preferred rate.

Payment Deadline and Cancellation Policy

Applicants to all trainings will be notified of admission within two weeks from the time of application. Accepted applicants must remit a $100 non-refundable deposit within one week of notification of acceptance to confirm attendance. Payment of the remaining course fee balance must be received no later than 21 days prior to the start of the course.

In case of participant cancellation prior to the payment deadline, applicants may opt to participate in an alternative training session at a later date (availability permitting) or to receive a refund of their course fee, minus the non-refundable $ 100 deposit. If an admitted applicant chooses to withdraw less than 21 days prior to the start of the training for which s/he is registered, no refund will be given.

The organizers reserve the right to cancel any training or workshop. In such a case, HPCR International will reimburse full course fees to registered participants. Please note that HPCR International's liability is limited to the reimbursement of course fees only.
