Fees for Thematic WorkshopsThe fee for the Thematic Workshops on International Humanitarian Law is 600 Euros. This fee covers tuition, training material, and most meals. Accepted participants are responsible for accommodation expenses and associated travel costs. For most training locations, participants will have the option to arrange accommodations at a preferred rate. HPCR International offers partial tuition assistance to a limited number of candidates from local and national civil society organizations in developing countries who have been accepted to attend the Advanced Professional Trainings on Humanitarian Law and Policy. Eligible participants may submit a tuition assistance request via email to pdptrainings@hpcr.org.
Payment Deadline and Cancellation PolicyApplicants to the Advanced Professional Trainings on Humanitarian Law and Policy will be notified of admission within two weeks from the date their application is received. Accepted applicants will receive an official acceptance letter via email, to which they must reply to confirm attendance. Should the admitted applicant not send a confirmation of attendance once the acceptance letter is received, HPCR International reserves the right to admit another applicant in her/her place. Together with their acceptance letter, admitted applicants will receive an invoice for the payment of the fees for the courses to which they have registered. Pursuant to the invoice, admitted applicants may remit payment by wire transfer or credit card in Euros made payable to HPCR International. For additional information, refer to Methods of Payment below. Payment of the course fee must be received at the latest four weeks (28 days) prior to the start of the training to which the participant is registered. Otherwise, the participant's seat may be forreited to applicants on the waiting list. In case of participant cancellation prior to the payment deadline, applicants may opt to participate in an alternative training session at a later date (availability permitting) or to receive a refund of their course fee, minus any associated bank transfer fees. No refund will be provided should a cancellation be made after the payment deadline. The organizers reserve the right to cancel any training or workshop. In such case, HPCR International will fully reimburse any associated course fees received from registered participants. HPCR International's liability is limited to the reimbursement of course fees only.
